Ok, so my first impression of The Tower is, meh. Think about what Bungie has given us about this game so far. It's going to be massive right? An epic sci fi adventure for the ages, well I think one of the most important things that doesn't truly reflect that is the guardians home base, The Tower. It just feels to small in size and scope.
One of my favorite home bases in all videos was the Citadel from Mass Effect. You could truly feel and breath in the epicness of that space station. That's what I think the Tower needs to more closely reflect; a home base where we would be able to explore just as much as we can when we land on a new planet.
Consider it Bungie.
AND YES EVERYONE I AM AWARE THIS IS A BETA, AND THAT THERE ARE STILL OTHER AREAS THAT ARE CURRENTLY NOT OPEN. I AM SIMPLY REPLYING TO BUNGIE ASKING FOR FEEDBACK.

I am a little concerned that promises were made that "if you can see it, you can reach it" in this game. At least with the beta (maybe because areas are not released or done yet) it seems that there ARE borders but just like the "no loading screens" (which is just replaced by long flight screens) we are being misled by areas bordered by deep waters, long drops, and walls. This does not seem like a free roaming world as promised. For those who will say "do you know how hard it would be to actually make a world where you can go ANYWHERE, no platform would handle the rendering..." HEY! I say HEY!!! Then the devs need to watch what they say and not hype us up for fudged work! I love the game so far, even if it only goes to level 8, but if I am told I can go anywhere I can see, I had better not have an impassable body of water separating me and a distant shore, I had better have a way to cross that damn water and get to the areas I can see!
