PLEASE DON'T ADD TRADING! !
I already commented this in response to a post.
"I think it would be a bad idea. It would have the effect Borderlands trading had. You'd get powerful green (and higher) weapons through trading and effectively lose the excitement of a nice loot drop from a boss because.... The weapon in your hand is already better than than nice sexy new weapon that just dropped from the boss you just spent a half hour fighting.
I think it would severely diminish the overall experience **cough**borderlands**cough**"

5 RepliesNothing is forcing you to trade. If my friend finds an exotic Auto Rifle and I find a Scout Rifle; I'd want the ability to trade with him.

What if I had a perfect loot drop from a previous boss, and get an inferiour drop from another boss? Your arguement is moot. Trading may well be the only way to get your hands on particularly rare drops. You do not have to trade, but you should not deny others their right to choose how they acquire their weaponry.

8 RepliesI think trading is bad cus it will be like borderlands. Everyone duplicates. Like the infamous "Bee shield" in borderlands. Everyone had it. And it was the best. I remember I joined lobbies and noobs were just duplicating things. What's the point of having rare items in the game if they are made so easy to obtain. Bungie has it right. I think we as the community need to focus on other problems Destiny has right now like unbalanced Vehicles rather then implementing new things that aren't needed.

I wish there was trading as I only use scout riffle and when my mate finds one that beats mine n all he can do is scrap it I find that sad please do add traiding it wouldnt break the game would make been team player mor efficent as your not gonna be able to get best weapons straight away as they level restrictive and sayin your weapon will be better than a boss drop if your good at games that happens regardless

No one is forcing you to trade,exploit it or anything like that. 2nd, if your playing on higher than normal,...A boss weapon is going to be pink/orange etc and pretty high level...I doubt your friend can give a weapon to slay the boss unless is hacked. You can get the strongest rarest gun for your level, Terramorphous and rest of the raid bosses will "Lol" at you

Its not like if trading is implemented a million legendary items will suddenly appear out of nowhere and everyone will get them. They all have a boss, mission, crucible match or vendor that they came from. Let's say that you have a legendary weapon that you worked hard for. Now you get an even better legendary item. You don't want to just throw out the item you spent a precious 150 or more crucible/vanguard marks on. You can trade it and get something out of it while someone else benefits from the new gun/armor they got. Whether they spend a fortune in glimmer or lose a valuable item of their own is up to you.

And it wouldn't diminish the experience because then we can use our items to auction (Another feature that we should have) for glimmer, but you do have a good point about a trading system. Bungie should figure out how to incorporate a fair useful way of trading items.

3 RepliesTrading is a necessity. If you don't believe in powerful greens, then don't trade yourself. If you don't want that special moment ruined, then you don't have to trade. For the people that do, though it should be there.

1 ReplyHigher rarity equipment should be character or account bound. I'm thinking blue or higher. If there's a crafting system, like WoW, then certain high rarity crafted equipment should be able to be traded, but the best crafted equipment should also be character/account bound. For binding there should be a prompt though. That's it, starting my own thread.

14 RepliesRespectfully declined. This game is already anti social enough. We need more reasons to interact. Trading in a game with RNG drops is a must. There also needs to be an auction house. As long as there are no dupe glitches it'll be fine. My friend has 4 uncommon shotguns. I've played more than him and I never found another shotgun. I got tired of the starter and finally caved and just bought one. That's shit. What's the point of mail and interact buttons if you can send/ trade items in an item-sentric game? The problem is that some people here are being so selfish that they can't see that people are different. Trade doesn't devalue anything. The value comes from the experience and its up to the individual player if they want to experience or earning the weapon or trading for it; both of which can be equally as rewarding. It's only devalued when 1) there is a dupe glitch. 2) you allow how someone else obtained something to make your experience feel cheap. You'll have a story, they won't.

Yeah, definitely a 'no' to trading. All the loot is already designed to suit whoever picks it up. There would be way too many guns and armor floating around if people could farm and trade them.

Considering I have killed Septiks Prime way to many times and still don't have a green auto rifle I would love trading to be in.

3 RepliesYes, please dont add trading because Destiny might actually function like an MMO should. "Home of the Guardians, the Tower is a third person social hub where you can regroup, rearm, and form new alliances before venturing beyond the safety of the City’s walls." And by social hub they mean a place where you can dance with other people but can't communicate with them in any way possible.
