I envy all of the Xbox players...
As a playstation user, I already played the beta and alpha. I'll tell you, destiny is like heroin. If you've played it, you can't not want to play it. Games like watch dogs have no meaning anymore. I tried to play CoD or Battlefield, but playing them to try to curb the destiny withdrawals is like huffing glue when you need some sweet sweet crack.
So don't be jealous of us, xbox players. We should envy you. You Don't know what yesterday and today feels like. Video games have lost meaning. I urge you to enjoy today. As it's most likely your last day of being sober from destiny before you too with be addicted as we are.
Edit: Now that all of you xbox players have played as well, I'm sure you understand completely what I meant.

5 Repliesi have both ps4 and xbone, playd the beta on ps4 and i can tell u that this is over hyped. pvp sucks max bg is 6v6. when u join fireteams u can be max 3 players. they should at least look at dice and ask them how they manage to make it 32vs32 so it gets epic out there on the field in destiny. If u want a mmo stick to pc. consoles are still ages behind!

I bet you envy me the most, then; I tried since Tuesday, but never got my Xbox to be obedient and download the Beta until about two hours ago. And, of course, the Beta ended yesterday. I never even saw what it looked like. I would rather mourn the loss of the Beta like anyone else than never get the chance to ever experience it D:

1 ReplyAfter the Beta my buddy and I wandered over to Watchdogs to fill the void. We couldn't connect to the Ubisoft servers for even one game. We wandered over to Worms. It worked. We laughed like third graders. It'll have to do until September. *sigh*

Well I envy them cause they didn't have the chance to get bored of Destiny. I started to get a worse and worse tasted in my mouth every time I came back to the game. It's like chewing a piece of food for too long. even if it is the best food on earth you chew one piece for too long and it gets nasty.

1 ReplyI hate to tell you...I'm not even sure I should, but destiny went back online yesterday. Maintenance didn't take as long as they expected. I only had to deal with withdrawal for one day, not two.

Nobody puts this game through the tests like a generation of players weaned on the Halo experience. Too bad we'll never meet on the battlefield. 2 RepliesOh I am defecting from owning my black slim X-box 360 to trade it in for a PS4. I am waiting for PS4 to have an "Xbox" controller adaptation too. I can't stand the PS controllers that is the main reason never bought one in the first place.

It happened to me, after Halo2 came to the end of its life span. I felt numb, that no game would ever be able to catch my attention again, but sorely enough I gathered my wits and once again found gaming enjoyable again. You need to moderate, otherwise you will turn into a jumble speaking, feeble shooting fan boy of Bungie. All your real friends will disown you and the only light that you will ever see will be from the stairwell when you emerge from your pit and head to the bathroom relieving yourself from a much needed break. That's not the worst of it. Your dreams will empower you. Your rested escape will be clutched away by the power of evil. You may even wake up to cold sweats, with the last thing on your mind; Deej, standing above you, holding onto the might of the ban hammer, threatening to smash your console into mere pieces of plastic, scattering it far and wide over the relics of the last city on earth. Now go be a man and not a mouse, before you hit that point of no return my feeble friend. The next time we hear you whimper it better be on the battle field and not in the arms of a loved one whom is forced to hold your hand. ;)
