Who the *$&# cares? It's a game. You didn't just become Bill Gates. You didn't win a big promotion at work. You didn't just land a hot girlfriend against all odds and end up marrying her and having the most beautiful children and win the lottery. It's - a - (sit down for this one, kids ) VIDEO GAME.

aww man I was really excited because I thought you were gonna kick ass and be all for people who are just playing for fun. Thats really hard for me. I'm very competitive, and my 2.10 K/D dropped from a 3, all because I felt I was matched up poorly in drop ins and was playing poorly in Iron Banner where the stakes are quite high. For people that are competitive and do care about doing well, as an FYI, that is fun for us, getting to feel like a special snowflake who can do well makes that experience enhanced, because now I can keep at my skillful gaming endeavor. Its similar with sports, you have a lot of fun if you are competitive and do well. On the other hand I would love to be able to game with those who aren't as inclined to rage about their K/D and thats what PVE is for, sure you can have a team thats casual but, its not really in a setting that matters. I ultimately want to point out that people that care about their progress in a video game are not awful people, they are dedicated and simply close to their player, things are important on a different scale to them. Just the same I don't think people trying to have fun in PVP are the bad guy. Hopefully Iron Banner, just as ranked did with Halo 3, will serve as a casual-competative differentiator.

Yeah, people mustn't get me wrong. It's not that I'm in love with being bad at PvP or refuse to get better. I enjoy playing, but will enjoy it even more if I play AND win! When I get my KD all the way up to 1 - man o man, the d-bag fist pumping that will go on in my house... Until then, I'll just do my best. I'll capture where I can, support my team mates and gape in awe at how someone constantly manages to hit that tiny target that my Titan's head makes.

Will add you, thanks. I must say though, there is something incredibly humbling about being constantly shot in the head by someone that's probably 13 years old. I'm sure there's a life lesson in there somewhere. Just glad I can't hear them laughing with condescending glee after every kill!
