Maybe if you where there to see what Bungie's promised you'd understand.

Was there ever an official promise or just beta footage with high level guardians gear? If they came out and said you'll be able to access higher level content then yeah bungie should make amends for that. The only thing I saw was the beta trailer with the higher caps, I don't remember that video promising a high level cap. User just saw the number and ran with it. I'm just getting annoyed at the sense of entitlement our community is putting out there. And the damn pissing contest between xbox and playstation. You guys gain nothing and hardly ever do I see civilized conversation between the two. As you can see there were some flaws with this most recent challenge with sub par players getting legendary loot. I feel like these are the types of things bungie is looking for. I've got faith in bungie and will be there to support this game. I want to make it clear I'm not brown nosing it was lame for bungie to tease higher levels with that trailer but maybe the cap will increase. I'm gonna hold judgment until the beta is finished.

Not only that but they almost split #Destiny into 2 groups. Xbox fans and PS fans. Obviously I'm generalizing but I'm not kidding when I say this. People actually took back their pre-orders. They're treating it as a full-scale launch. Which means they will be doing quality over quantity. But their are those few how will always be like that you can't let them get to you. The only thing is everywhere is like this and with Bungie now catering to PS players, it bound to be bad. It's died down a shit ton. It's clear to me that bungie is going to be making some changes over the next week and possibly giving us a level cap increase. I think a to of people are see max lvl cap as 20 but that's just when you really start to develop your character from what I've read. It was rumored the alpha was around 3% right so just a ballpark here I'd say the beta is maybe 6-10%. If I can happily invest 10+ hours in the first 6-10% of the game then I see no problem with the game size. I imagine I'll top 100+ hours going by those numbers. Hell even more once the comets hit. The idea behind the iron challenge was top players would receive better equipment but in a lot of cases the system was all jacked up and random at best. Sometimes low producing team mates would score legendary weapons and top scores would not receive anything.

They Have held up to their promises for the beta and they haven't even released the game yet so how can you say they haven't?

They didn't really hype anything. The players did for sure, but they kept a lot of their info secret.

Dude I've read damn near every mail sack since Destiny was announced, the only thing they ever hyped were things for the final game. The BETA was only ever hyped in the fact that you get to play. And it's the communities fault for causing a civil war. Bungie didn't do a thing. Its a BUSINESS trying to reach out to a new demographic by giving them a sip from the cup early. Not their fault if some over sensitive Xbox crusaders get so upset they cancel their preorder.

I've gotta respectfully disagree. Alot of gamers will take any bit of "journalistic news" or hell even a forum post run with it as fact and then be pissed when nothing like that was ever confirmed by bungie. Then be pissed at bungie!

That s the way it almost always goes, and it s mostly not something the developer says, it s I heard that my friend heard and he heard it from another one who got it from a brother in law of the mailman from Bungie
