I have a feeling Bungie did this on purpose cause they only wanted to light up dark areas to fit the story and ghost's dialog. Our little ghost only lights the place up when he feels like it and if it's relevant to how the story was written. But it's not too late to change it. How about letting us activate the flash light whenever we want, and if we arrive at an event where our little ghost has some witty dialog about turning on on his lights, you could design it where the lights turn off beforehand, and then the ghost turns it back on right after. Cause I gotta admit, there were some places where a flashlight would of came in handy.

  • Not just flashlight, but I be neat to use the ghost more such as: being able scan environment for hidden treasure or doors. Find a old gun on the ground and can have the ghost fix it.

  • I only see the post once. Nevertheless I agree. Its hard for me to put into words but, I feel this open world style should be more similar to Skyrim. You kill an enemy and you can loot him. When you're in a dark place, you take out a torch, in this case your Ghost. Also it would be cool if the Ghost was a real companion. It doesn't do much other then scanning, which is automatic for a mission. It would be dope if you could scan for chest and things like you mentioned. The exploration missions don't feel important like the story mode. I wish this was an RPG with shooter elements, but its a Shooter with a few RPG elements. Not that that is bad. I still like the game, but it needs more depth. However this is the beta. No telling how the end game would be.
