I have a question about the Destiny Beta. Does it all take place in the crucible, or will it also be free roam on planets such as Earth, Venus, or Mars?

Bungie, I just wanna say that I have been a huge fan of you guys for a while now. The first major franchise I ever got into was Halo and that series is what initially got me into gaming in the first place. You guys are what started my passion for all things gaming related. Ever since I heard of Bungie just a year ago at E3, I was pumped. I was so excited to go headfirst into another handcrafted world made by you guys that was sure to be excellent. As time went on and more information started to come out, I got more and more excited. Everything looked promising and it was obvious that you guys were putting a lot of time and effort into something your fans would love. When the Alpha came out and I got to play it, I was completely sold. I made a account here just because of that experience. My time in that got me even more hyped for the Beta and retail release. So thank you, Bungie. Thank you for being one of my favorite gaming companies to date. You guys have become a guarantee of quality and fun. Destiny looks to be a wonderful game and I can't wait. I'm a bit sad for all the Xbox users out there that will have to wait to join all us PlayStation users after half of the beta is done with, but who knows? Maybe you guys will extend the beta just a bit for those guys. After all, a Bungie fan is a Bungie fan, and shouldn't be discriminated against no matter what that chose to use. (Even though you guys probably got a good amount of money to do just that from PlayStation. Guess all that coding for awesome dancing wasn't gonna pay for itself...) I've been a Bungie beautiful bastard since 13' when I came across that amazing trailer at E3, after hearing this new game coming out on next gen. It was almost impossible to avoid coming across Destiny as everyone just kept mentioning it from left to right. I was extremely excited after watching the first gameplay trailer. Soon afterwards I came across MoreConsole and became a Beautiful Bastard, yes, I'm a proud bastard! *cough* MC took my excitement level for this game to another level by constantly delivering new Destiny quality videos, helping me catch up with anything and everything I've had missed about Destiny back then. My excitement level grew up into a level where I needed more, which is when I thought of finding the Forums for Destiny where I could discuss about my most anticipated game of next gen by far. I've been feeding off of this lovely and active Forums since, and MoreConsole of course. My body has been ready now, it's my Destiny to become a Guardian of Earth and conqu... *cough* attempt to conquer, the Darkness! July 17th it is.

O.k, so sorry for the wall of text.. I know some here will not have the patience to actually read.... anyways.... To everyone at Bungie.... I know you are all intelligent enough to ignore the 12 year old haters that are filling this place with their mongering, but from a fan I just want you to know that you have my full support, you are all amazing!!! Please keep up the excellent work!!! I have to admit that I am ashamed that I simply played the game during the alpha test and it is only now, after reading countless negative comments, that I am thinking clearly. The Destiny alpha was really fun and looked beautiful so thanks for the privilege of trying it out. Ever since I received my NES console, I have wanted to test games... and now many years later, you are giving me that chance to test Destiny. So thank you Bungie!!! I am going to do my best to break your game come beta. Yup, gonna try to break Destiny. To all my fellow Guardians..... Bungie has thrown the gauntlet down and challenged us to become legend.... What is a legend? Who is a legend? Someone who did something so amazing, so unbelievable, that their accomplishment lives on long after they are gone.... So how can we do this? Play Destiny... Become Legend.... As you have read, I am going to do my best to find every glitch I can during the beta. Happy bungie day no matter what console you play on xbox or playstation just remember we are a community and that we are all playing the same game and although Xbox isn't getting the exclusive armors or strike missions on launch day we'll get them eventually and I think I'll end it on that note have a good day guardians.:)

I really think its kinda sad how this so called "console war" gets the best of people. Yes im a PS gamer, the only reason i dont "like" xbox is the controller, besides from that no problem at all.. Never played xbox in my life but dosent really matter, im sure xbox is a great console... It all comes down to personal preferense.. And this thing with the beta.. Just silly, i have seen alot of comments here and i see ALOT of complaning and alot of great comments. I think its great that we get this exclusive access and thats not to rub it in xbox gamers face, ut only because you guys have had som amazing games thats exclusive for xbox, halo and forza for exampel.. both great games of what ive seen, but we was "left out".. I think its our turn to get some exclusivs from bungie, but the one thing that makes me kinda sad is that the xbox community (not everyone) dosen really understand what it means to e a gamer.. its not exclusives, its not even about one spesific game, its the love for gaming and being apart of a wast community.. the hope for the future for me atleast is that xbox gamers and ps gamers can play together regardles of what console we own :) And by the way xbox gamers, you are getting an amazing game next year.. of ourse im talking about halo 5 ;) sorry for my bad english... one last thing, congratz bungie :D

Happy bungie day, I miss the the bungie day of the past like when bungie let everyone in halo 3 have flaming helmet for the whole day, or playing halo all day with your friends on bungie day hoping to play against bungie, good time's. I hope they do stuff like this for destiny on the next bungie day. :)
