For everyone who played the Alpha you know exactly what's going to happen.
For everyone else about to enter the Beta.
Find a game you love if you can. Induce a coma. Freeze yourself. Invent a time machine. Become an astronaught. Take a job at a lighthouse. Goto sea. Explore the amazon forest. Delete this app. Give your computer to your Grandma to keep safe.
Journey to the South or North pole....
Your hell will begin the minute you start scratching at Bungie's servers minutes after the beta finally closes and they show no mercy.
Your games will be dry husks of horrible grinding and lifeless skies.
Pray Netflix gets something you can binge on. Pray your job suddenly becomes a fiery inferno of drama that kills time.
Pray... but it will do you no good. Once you see those blue skies and unlock that green or blue orb.
Once you ground splash your opponents or throw a knife into their heads.
Once you sit on the grass over looking a epic battle between the Fallen and Hive or Cabal and Vex.
It's over.
August you are a bane. A horrible evil that will break many of hope and will.

Edited by ZERO XVII 17: 6/20/2014 10:13:31 AMI think that every Alpha tester understands this post well. While many players watched the game play and the walkthroughs that Alpha testers were creating, little did they know about the dark abyss that slowly creeped into sight as the Alpha closing date arrived. Voids were created in many gamers' hearts that day as they quickly realized how feeble all of their other games were by compare and how hopeless the future looked for them as gamers. Those who felt the void understand that satisfaction will not be reached until the full game is released. Like a potent drug, Alpha testers just needed one more. Now we patiently wait for July 17th to rear its head. We slowly wait for that one more taste in anticipation for the full game.
This Sucks!
