After I saw what they did with Marty, no, I think Bungie has turned into another money hungry studio at this point. But good for you, good luck in your endeavors.
-
I mean, if I was offered a job yes.

Edited by Pfhortnite: 7/16/2014 2:12:54 PMWhen I was younger I wanted to, but now not so much. While I still look to the game industry as a possible area of employment, I don't want to limit my sights to one developer.
-
They should create a position for me that requires eating jerky and posting to their Twitter account. I can do that.
-
Nevaaaarrr.

Edited by JDWoody86: 7/16/2014 11:51:06 AMYes I plan on starting out as a game tester, down here in Australia first. I applied last week, so fingers crossed! Then slowly but surely, work my way up to, CEO of the world (after Bungie complete their global domination agenda). In the bag!
-
I just wanted to bump this and say there are over 30 jobs posted right now. I'm not sure when a bunch more were added, but I thought it was worth mentioning.
-
Is love to but I've decided to set aside my desire to create games and instead I'm going to use the inspiration given to me from the characters and worlds I've come across to try to advance our technologies in the real world. I know it's a little cheesy but I'd like to turn things we once could have in games into something we have in reality! I figure the best place to start with that would be quantum computing so in short I've taken a slightly different path in life. I wish you almost all the luck in the world (gotta save some for myself :] ) on your path and hope you'll get to make your dream come true!
-
I did, but now I plan on working for myself.
-
If I wasn't taking the medical route, then it would be a nice endgame.
-
I would love to. They have a Technical Designer job that would be perfect for me. But I'm realistic, in that I'm nowhere near Bungie skill. Yeah I've made and shipped games. Yeah I'm great at programming. Yeah I'm great game design. But Bungie only chooses the best of the best. I'm still working on upping my game before I apply.
-
Gonna illegally emigrate to USA, walk on foot from california to seattle(?) climb in through a window and tackle jason jones screaming "I AM THE CHOSEN ONE". I'll totally get the job.
-
I'm working hard right now. Been doing animation for over 4 years now. Been taking plenty of summer courses at the Gnomon School (a high end animation college). Seattle is the perfect place for these kinds of opportunities, for if I fail to get into Bungie, there are plenty of other great studios near there like Valve and Sucker Punch.
-
I would love to, but then I look at myself and realize I am not experienced whatsoever
-
That HR spot would be perfect for me. I live to far away. Plus I have an X1 and PS4 and will be playing the beta, but you have to be inhouse. So I will be keeping my input to myself ;)
-
My GameDev Study starts next year. Who knows where my Destiny will bring me ^_^

Scythes…

I would love to someday work with Bungie on a project in partnership but I don't think I would want to work FOR them. But who knows what will happen, maybe things change and I will someday.
-
I have absolutely no experience in the development of games. Unless I pursue one of the positions that doesn't involve actually making the games, then no, I'm not going to work at bungie. I have a lot of respect for the company and how they treat their employees, and I think it would be a place I genuinely enjoy working at, but it's just not feasible.
-
I'm already learning to code.
-
I would like to. But Bungie is not that big of a company employee wise. I would assume then, that only the best get hired at Bungie. We'll see how things go.
-
On a scale to 1-10 of how badly I would love to work there for my future, umm.. A solid 900 :) gotta be the best of the best to join a team that aims for world domination ;) #TeamBungie!!! #WorkHard #WorkHarderTheNextDay #PlayDestiny #ThenWorkTwiceAsHard
-
Unless in house policies change, and there is an opening for my skill set, then most definitely. If not, I'll live. I will still actively be involved in what they are doing
-
Edited by Mythoclast: 4/28/2014 8:15:57 PMYes. I want to transmute my mad programming skills into raw cash.

Wanted to several years ago, just missed the opportunity. Maybe one day I will, after I get my degree for gaming and computer programming. Which will be after my military service.
