I was rather surprised that while scouring through the forums, I found several posts knocking Deej, but none thanking him. Most of what we know about Destiny is thanks to Deej. He has given us enough of an appetizer, but not so much that we wont want the main course. His job is much harder then most would imagine and I feel that he deserves a thank you. Thank you Deej!
The entire Bungie team also deserves a huge thank you. Without them there wouldn't be a game. They're really neat guys who produce some phenomenal stuff. Thanks Bungie!

Kiss ass

Edited by Hatima: 3/30/2014 12:43:47 AMThe best way to thank DeeJ is to play Destiny when it comes out. Become Legend.
-
Don't get me wrong. The entire Bungie team should be thanked. I just figured the face of Bungie needed a thank you every once in a while. Just don't let it go to your head Deej.
-
Thee Ol' sport does do a fine job with his ink. I doubt I would read the update as much if it were to bore me so. I think he has a fine knack of teasing, yet never cheats us. Blunt and honest and it shows in his words.... but yes like the guy below said. "Kiss Ass". (Just for kicks)
-
Well done Deej. Keep me on the edge of my seat. I haven't fallen off yet.
-
Deej is the one who knocks.
-
Don't thank him. He will get lazy.
-
Well, I mean... I'm sure Bungie as a whole deserves a big thank you. And didn't that happen already?
-
Arigato Deej, that's a thank you from the Japanese.
-
It'll go to his head and the stuff tiger will get ignored.

Edited by Commander Tempu: 3/30/2014 1:29:16 PMNo one thanks Urk. Its Urk and Deej with Achronos keeping a watchful eye on things. It takes a team to pull things off. Bungie web team is trying to make things happen yet Destiny is keeping them busy. Bungie wants us to know what they want us to know. So who ever would be Community manager would be doing just that. At this time it is Deej and Urk.

I'd say yes, except for the lack of info.
-
Where's the "No because he dodges legitimate issues, criticism, and victim blames" option?
-
Edited by c4rnus: 3/30/2014 9:32:50 PMHe does put up with a lot of bullshit on the forums, and for that I commend him tremendously. I don't think he deserves a thank you simply for doing his job though.
-
For doing his job?
-
Never, he is an oppressive, corrupt, fascist who gets away with injustice! ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
-
Edited by soth: 3/30/2014 9:56:36 PMhe is paid handsomely to propagate. to keep your attention on the new property of is employer:bungie.
-
Do not be a suck up.
-
I think he gets thanked plenty. He gets paid, he gets to play Destiny, he gets bungie.net fame, and he does get a lot of praise in threads. The people who are upset are always going to be more in your face about it.
-
I think so. Do you not say thank you to someone doing a service even though you they are being paid for it by you? I do. Thanks DeeJ for doing a great job pre-release.
-
If he persuades them to change bnet back to its former glory, then yes. Otherwise, no.
-
Why yes... yes he does.
-
He gets money for what he does.
-
I'm sure he gets a pretty good paycheck. Bungie is a business, not a charity.
-
Considering he constantly teases us with morsals of info...just because we haven't tried to eat his head is thankyou enough.
-
No he sucks at his job and can jump off a cliff into the gates of hell for eternal damnation for his poor work ethic
