When the time comes to vote for potential presidential candidates, will you vote differently depending on a candidate's stance on the NSA? Or does the NSA not matter to you?
I'd consider voting across party lines if I think a candidate will scale back the NSA
What about Benghazi
-
Yes.. I will NOT vote Republican, Democratic or Liberal. Any other party such as Libertarians and Independents are for the win!
-
vote for cookie monster
-
As if either party will go against the NSA scandal
-
I'm not a US citizen but it will influence the way I vote

You're an idiot if you think any presidential candidate is going to give an open stance on the NSA

Edited by Le Dustin xLil D: 1/11/2014 1:55:59 PMNeither side is going to be in opposition to the NSA. Like Quantum said, maybe Elizabeth Warren might, but she doesn't have anywhere near the chance that Clinton has.

No I don't give a crap
-
NASA is pretty cool.

Edited by H I S C H E R: 1/4/2014 2:18:51 AMYes i will vote for the state puff marshmallow man. he seems rather positive.

The NSA is a bipartisan issue you idiot.

>Implying your vote matters in the US The Electoral College decides who goes into office, its just that usually the people align with College so it isn't as noticeable. But they can put anybody into office and say "-blam!- you" to the people.

Not a single insider or outsider is going to do anything with their budget or reign them in. The NSA has a function, they are keeping me safe in my bed at night, ultimately you have two choices if you are an American accept it and move on or move to a different country, your jobs are easily filled! President Obama, did not expand the powers of the security apparatus Bush did, he just never changed it and thank goodness he didn't I like being safe at home.

Edited by WILLtheKILLA5: 1/11/2014 3:18:50 AMI always vote republican
-
Any candidate who is willing to scale back the NSA and fight to end use of drones will get my vote. These are the two issues that concern me the most.
-
The NSA problem doesn't end with the current president. If we want to change the practices of the NSA, electing a new establishment commander-in-chief won't accomplish that.
-
I'd vote for someone who'd give the government a good yank on the leash. They've become control freaks lately, with the NSA and whatnot.
-
Edited by DeclinedA01: 1/7/2014 12:33:33 PMIt will influence all the voting I do. The government shouldn't be collecting all that information.
-
Yes yes, because my vote really does matter....
-
Edited by Quantum: 1/7/2014 12:08:04 PMNo 3rd party is going to win with a FPP system. Both parties are split due to the NSA ordeal. You could probably vote Elizabeth Warren if she runs off of an anti-NSA campaign.
-
> Implying NSA surveillance is just a U.S. issue. In all likelihood, no. I don't see or particularly hope the surveillance will come to an end. However, it's possible the party I plan on voting for anyway would scale it back - not that I see them getting into government.
-
>implying I care about the ruler of the US
-
I would like to, but I am skeptical that either candidate from the two major parties will rein in the NSA. And there are other problems that take precedence for me, like fiscal policy and social issues. It does seem like someone who wants to limit the NSA's power would also promote the policies I like though.
-
Considering both major parties support the NSA and the fact that 3rd parties will never have enough influence to change a damn thing it's made me more apathetic than ever.
