France and Great Britain have the nukes, so that would make a draw. I'm french and i think this rivalry is just stupid. And i have seen someone say GB has always beaten since 3 centuries, but France and GB are allies since almost two centuries.

I could have said 1000 years mate, GB and France were the biggest Rivals in human history we have been fighting long before the Normandy Invasion (Not a French victory by the way). However I do like the French they have shown time and again that they despite the wars you guys do like us, your kings and leaders have looked to us as an example of how a country should be. And yea put a side our rivalry to fight side by side in histories 2 largest wars. I hear many French wonder why the British hate you, it's like brothers they take the piss out of each other all the time but we'll back you up if you need it, just like in Libya and Mali.

British forces where in France at the time so yea. And even thought France fell, Britain played a part in taking it back, planning the Normandy Invasion and using the BBC to help the French people sabotage the German supply lines which all helped to take France back. We could have stayed out of it, besides France joined the war once Britain declared war and they didn't have to do that either.

None of those would have been possible without America.

Actually it was going to go ahead with or without America. 60,000 soldiers died on those beaches, the UK, France, Australia, Canada and New Zealand had enough soldiers to do the job all they needed was the ships. America brought the ships and supplies but by the time of America joining the war the allies no longer needed supplies from America and just needed ships which all the allies provided. So just because you guys joined in before the invasion and your contribution did help a great deal it would have happened regardless. You couldn't have crossed the channel with millions of soldiers without the Royal Navy and British expertise in sailing the channel and invading other countries.
