Why is it America is always failing to win against Northen countries?
Im not bashing but have you noticed the patten;
1. 1812 invasion of Canada.....Failed
2. Vietnam..... North Vietnam won (Im aware you pulled out)
3. Korea.........North Korea still exists.
I can only imagine the USA losing to Russia due to the country being a Northern country. So what the hell is up with you guys? Can you not go uphill or something?

As far as I know we've never really been in a war with a nation in the Southern Hemisphere so....

3 Replies1.) America and Great Britain ended in a stalemate. See Treaty of Ghent. 2.) You can lead a horse to water but can't make him drink. Vietnam is much like Iraq and Afghanistan. You can't win a war by defending and helping the local indigenous personnel if the majority could care less what the outcome is and is equally as corrupt as the opposition you kicked out to begin with. 3.) America's main objective was to stop the spread of Communism. South Korea was invaded by the North (communist aggressor). President Truman was worried that China and Russia were trying to spread Communism throughout SE Asia. South Korea is not a Communist nation (its actually illegal there). That's where Hyundai is headquartered. Technically the war has not ended. A peace treaty was never signed. A cease fire was signed but never a peace treaty. South Korea stayed free of Communism and did not lose any territory. In summation we stalemated Great Britain in 1812, halted Russia, China, and North Korea spreading Communism in parts of SE Asia, and lost an unwinnable war in Vietnam due to unpopularity and the unwillingness of the people to see the fight to the end, regardless of America's superior combat effectiveness in country (the numbers don't lie, America dominated the NVA and completely eradicated the Viet Cong). So a win, a tie, and a loss.
