Thought I'd try to get some positive thinking going on.
If you're on #Gaming, chances are that what you want from a console is... gaming. But each console has some features that either enhance the gaming experience or add new media experiences. So, apart from gaming, what is your body most ready for? And why?
Options explained:
1. Recording and sharing game videos can be done on both consoles.
2. Legacy games can be streamed through Gaikai. You can also stream games PS4 while you're downloading them, so you don't have to wait. "Remote play" streams your PS4 game to your Vita, like the Wii U.
3. You can instantly open your gaming session to others so they can watch it live. They can post comments and you can even let them take over for you, if you want.
4. The new Dualshock 4 controller has a touchpad and sixaxis motion sensing. The light bar at the front can be detected by the Playstation Eye and used like PS Move.
5. A layer over live TV allows you to see what's most popular, as well as search for channels/shows. Some shows come with extra content. NFL games will show you fantasy football stats updated in real-time. You can use it to control your entire TV viewing.
6. You can turn on your TV/Xbox, launch games and apps, and search for TV shows via voice. You can also use gestures to customize what's happening on-screen. Kinect is sensitive enough to detect your heart rate, and individual voices and faces.
7. You can "snap in" whatever you're doing while still playing games or watching TV. So you can Skype and watch TV or surf the web and game.
