The video is a prank/social experiment for an upcoming movie which is supposed to show how people would react to seeing a murder taking place. Both the attacker and the victim are actors, but the video attempts to paint the onlookers as members of the general public. What doesn't seem to be clear on any sites I've looked at is whether the onlookers are actors or not; whether this is all completely fake. Keep in mind this is a part of a viral marketing campaign for the movie, so it probably is.
Anyway, here's the question.
Regardless of whether the onlookers are actors or not, do you think their reactions are representative of how people would react to such a situation?

If it wasn't all actors, then it's probably in a building that has metal detectors or some similar measure that keeps firearms out.

I was really hoping someone would just walk into the lift and hit a button.

Edited by BlackHeaven: 3/6/2013 2:27:53 AMI'd like to believe the people who calmly walked away knew it was fake. Also wondering what would have happened if an armed man saw this.

Hopefully nobody has their conceal and carry. Anyway, I could certainly say I would help the victim.

Well, I would like to say I would try to help the person being murdered, but I truly don't know what I would do in a high-pressure situation like that. If these are real people, not actors, I am disappointed that so many people just walked away, and especially disgusted at the man who just stood there and took a picture.
