Chapter Five: Queen of Light ---------------------------------------------- Rogue’s Location/Unknown ---------------------------------------------- A girl the age of sixteen, who had lost her parents, spoke. “Hi everyone.” She said. Everyone turned around. Rogue walked up to her. “Who are you?” He asked. “The name’s Taylor.” “Okay, what do you want?” “I have no idea. I forgot what I was supposed to do.” She looks into his eyes. “It can’t be. You’re dead. There’s no way.” “What?” “The Warrior of Darkness. The king of the Realm of Darkness.” “You lost me at king. I’m only the leader of the rogues, that is if there are any left.” “The Warrior of Darkness is the king of the Realm of Darkness.” ------------------------------------------- Temple of Divinity ------------------------------------------- Veranox searches in the Temple of Divinity for the equipment. After he searched, for what seemed like forever, he finally found it. “Yes! Well I’ve finally found it. Okay, here goes nothing!” He flies towards the equipment and the Guardian of Divinity appears in front of him. “Who comes to disturb the resting the Equipment of Divinity?” “Well, Holy One, I am here to retrieve it, since the War of the Elementals is going on.” “Is that so, wind one?” “Yes it is.” “"Then why do you have to take this armor? You can do it just as easily without the equipment.” “Well, Divinity talked to me and told me to take it.” “Is that so, well, it isn't like a lot of people come here to retrieve it, your only the fourth one.” “Wow. So can I take it?” “Well, I suppose so, but if I learn that you've been doing bad with it, trust me, I will take the equipment back.” “Thank you.” He walks up to the altar and takes the equipment. “All this power. Thank you Holy One.” “Don’t worry about it.” ------------------------------------------ Temple of Terrorark ------------------------------------------ “I think I should take the armor from here too.” Veranox enters the temple and finds the equipment without going through all sort of traps. He reaches the equipment, noticing that there is no guardian. He takes the armor. He is instantly consumed by darkness, but he saved from corruption due to having the Equipment of Divinity. He is known as the Divine Terror, one who is corrupted and holy. “All this power. I can do anything with it, but first I must go to Estoc.” He stops midway in teleportation. “Maybe I shouldn’t go to him.” He teleports to Rogue’s location instead. ------------------------------------------ Rogue’s Location ------------------------------------------ “What do you mean the king? I wasn’t born in the Realm of Darkness.” Rogue said. “It doesn't matter what realm you where born in. It goes by the one who will protect the people around them. That’s how you became the Warrior of Darkness. I know what you did before the War of the Elementals. You saved you sister with the near lost of you own life, and you skill in fighting. You save over one hundred people that day because of what you did. You saved the temple of the flames. Don't you remember?” “…I do remember, but I don’t want to. That was the day lost all my other family members. That’s why I choose not to remember. My sister and I were lucky, but her luck ran out.” “I’m sorry. I didn’t know.” “It’s okay.” Someone teleports in. ‘Who’s there?” “Don’t worry Rogue. It’s me Veranox.” He steps into the light. “Aha, that thing on you is making me weaker.” Rogue said. “That was made in the Realm of Light. How did you get that. Only those blessed by the Gods can wear it.” Taylor asked. “So you want to learn about it? It's a combo, but I fear it has corrupted me. This is a hybrid armor, formed when I wore both the Equipment of Divinity and the Equipment of Terrorark. I was told by Divinity and Terrorark themselves about this armor.” The Aeronox replied. “Okay, but can you turn it off because that light is really painful.” “Don't, that’s the only way Rogue can learn how to take the light.” “Well, I don't really want to take it off, since I've just received it and it’s like a present to me.” “Good. I think Rogue needs to feel what it is like to be in around stuff from the Realm of Light. Lucky for us, we can take both the Realm of Darkness and Light wit out being damaged.” “Can we move to another place? It’s getting boring.” Veranox asked. “Oh, sorry. Let’s go.” Rogue said. They teleport to somewhere close to Estoc’s location. “This place seems pretty good.” The Aeronox said as they arrived. “Enemies behind us.” Rogue pointed out. “Taste light! Light Blast!” Taylor shot a wave of energy at them. Veranox blasts them with a black and green energy that engulfs them in darkness. “I like to call that Fulminating Darkness.” “Darkness Dragon!” Rogue sends a blast of energy the shape of a dragon. “Do you know anything about the chaos moves?” Taylor asked. “An attack of Light and Darkness.” “Chaos Dragon.” Rogue and Taylor send a very powerful wave of light and darkness at the enemies. “Nice way to make a Chaos Dragon, but I'm afraid that isn't a Chaos Dragon, Chaos is really a greater power of darkness. You two made a Light and Darkness Dragon, also known as a Neutral Dragon, since it is neither good nor evil. Divine Terror is when the two great forms of light and darkness combine, just as my armor. Here is a Chaos Dragon.” Veranox pointed out. He sent a blast of darkness at them. “Darkness Overload!” Rogue yelled. The blast of darkness destroys the rest of the. Veranox forms a ball of light and darkness uses one percent of his energy. “This one percent can destroy one seventy-fifth of the galaxy.” “Okay, now you’re just showing off.” Rogue said annoyed. “Isn’t he dreamy?” Taylor admired. “Okay, fine. It can’t destroy one seventy-fifth, but it can cause real havoc and get her away from me. I’m a nine foot tall bird and she’s human.” “I always liked the alien type.” “Okay, get away from him.” “Umm... Now that's scary. I would really like to get out of here right now. But since I can't I have no choice but to stay. So what should we do while we wait for Estoc.” “Damn she won’t move.” “Shut up.” She said as she slapped Rogue. “Damn, she hits hard.” “You got hit by a girl!” Veranox laughed. “Shut up.” Taylor punches Veranox. “Just because I like you, doesn’t mean I can’t hit you.” “Damn. She does hit hard. That’s going to leave a bruise.” Veranox walks over to the tree and lies down. “It’s getting late. We should get some sleep.” Later that night, Rogue is still up training. “Chaos Dragon! Damn, I still can’t do it!” Taylor sees Rogue and goes over to him. “What are you doing?” “Why did I become the Warrior of Darkness? Veranox is much better.” “I told you it's not all about there power. You don't care if you die saving someone. Even people that you don't know.” Veranox overhears their conversation. “Sorry if I'm interrupting but if I didn't have this armor, I would've just had normal Wind powers, but since I have it, I'm great at darkness power. If you want, I might be able to help you.” “No, I have to learn myself.” ------------------------------- Temple of Ends ------------------------------- “Chaos Dragon! Damn it, I still can’t get it.” “You never change Rogue.” Someone said. Rogue turned to the source. “Josh. It's you. Where have you been? “I’ve been in the Realm of Light after the battle of the Temple of Flames long ago.” “You any good?” “I’m okay.” He is stabbed in the back by a sword. “Josh!” “He useless to me, but you have high energy levels.” The Guardian of Ends said, Rogue is covered in darkness. “Chaos Overload! You will pay for killing my friend!” “Good I need you in your most powerful state.” They clash with each other. Each were exhausted and hurt by the end. “Die!” Rogue kills the Guardian of Ends. “Crap, he was hard well time to go back to Veranox and Taylor.” --------------------------------------------- Veranox and Taylor’s Loacation -------------------------------------------- “I wonder when Rogue will be back. How long do you think?” Veranox asked. “I don’t know.” Rogue returns, exhausted. “Guys.....I’m..back.” Rogue falls down due to being in Chaos Mode for too long. “Whoa, quick we have to get him some help, Taylor try and use your light powers to heal him, and I’ll try using my dark powers to heal him.” After a few minutes Rogue regains consciousness. “Are you alright?” Veranox and Taylor asked at the same time. “I don't know really. In fact, I don't even know why I fell down. I was fighting a guardian in Chaos Mode. Then I fell down here.” “Chaos Mode will hurt you when you go in it. That’s you only use it as a last resort.” Taylor pointed out. "Yes, but once you master it you can enter it and revert at will, and it won’t hurt. So, what where you doing at the Temple of Ends?" Veranox asked “Trying to pull off the Chaos Dragon. Then my friend came in. Then he was killed by a guardian. Then I got pissed. Then some how I entered Chaos Mode. Then I fought him and killed him. “Hmmmm.... That must've been enough rage to transform you into the Warrior of Chaos. We must see how strong you become, but not for long, a few minutes is all I need to research it.” “Damn I hate to see what would happen if one of you two died.” "Don't worry, I'll contain you in a sphere of Divine power, so you can't harm anyone, but you might faint again, that's the only problem.” “It's ok. Anyway I found this weird door there it might lead us to something useful.” “Sure, let's go through.” The three of them head through the door.
