My wife works at a Sam's Club, which also happens to have a gas station. Tomorrow morning when they open they will be charging 3.59 for a gallon of regular unleaded. It was 2.59. Apparently hurricane Katrina is to thank for this. Hopefully Sam's is an exception or just overreacting, but don't be surprised if you have to pay out the ass for gas starting tomorrow.

The trouble with hydrogen power is, you need a lot of electricity in order to extract the hydrogen from water. You are converting water to hydrogen, then back to water again; it's not very efficient. And of course, the electricity you need to obtain the hydrogen in the first place is made using fossil fuels, which pollute the atmosphere.
