If the target generation is 35-45 years old, then why are the majority of the sales coming from people who are younger than that? Hmmm...d'you think it's because younger kids are interested in classic rock, too?
Brainwashing.
Truely, in the end, Music is all down to opinion. I think Zep is a Variety Show to music, you think Nu Rock bands are rushing to make their music.
Except your opinion < Everyone elses opinion in this thread.
Fair enough, you like what you like, but what you're saying is just damn disrespecctful.
It's like me saying "I like you, but I don't like your parents. I wish they'd never lived". Hey wait - you wouldn't be around then!
I'd rather marinate my balls in gravy and run through a ravenous pack of wolves than listen to a whole Linkin Park album. Slipknot, Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park, Disturbed etc, these bands are putting metal to shame.
Innovative bands such as Lamb of God, The Red Chord, Byzantine, this is what metal is about today. These guys outshine any of this nu-metal -blam!- to the power of 24380762345987652234765.
I'm fine with people liking whatever genre they like, be it rap, country, clasical, etc. But nu-metal....no. Adding rap to metal is like taking the most beautiful women you've ever seen to a plastic surgeon and telling him to slap a d!ck on her.
