Final Fantasy VII Remake for PS3?

Seeing aries again made me feel weird, but anywho, theres alot of speculation. Alot. Seein how this is only a Technical Demo for the PS3. Square Enix might be able to use this to sony's adantage. Meybe retaliation to Gates threat to release Halo2 with PS3.
Square-Enix did not say anything, this is just speculation. Altho if they do, Im bought for life.
Its also been announced that Final Fantasy XI will be released for the Xbox360 and XboxLive.

Its like the ps2 tech demo where they did the dance scene with Squall and Rinoa from ffviii. It looks good. They probably wont remake it, but then again they did redo 4,5 and 6 for the ps1 if only with a few extra rendered cut scenes. I would get excessively excited if they did spring final fantasy vii on us looking like that!!!!
