I think the normally accepted level (in Europe and America), is that roughly 5-10% pf the population is -blam!-. Seems perfectly feasible to me. Hell nearly all the Spartans in anceint Greece were bi-blam!-, and homo-blam!-ity was far more common throughout Ancient Greece in general tha it is now.
