I just thought I'd introduce myself. My name is Jon and my gamertag is DigitalPh33r, if anyone wants to play with me on Nov. 9th :)
I just got back from the XBox Connect lobby, spending about 25 minutes trying to convince people to stop downloading the Halo 2 pirated version (am I allowed to mention that? Sorry if I'm not). I told them that they were all thieves and that they should wait until the 9th, and give Bungie every penny they deserve for Halo 2, but it's like talking to a brick wall, no one would listen to me. Everyone began to insult me, and no one agreed with me, so I gave up, and told people on the GameFAQs forums about XBC.
Well, the GameFAQs forums are polluted with the same people, but a few people actually agreed with me and recommended that I go to the Bungie forums instead now, as it is a lot friendlier over here and people think the same way I do. So that's why I'm here.
So anyway, glad to be here!

Welcome to the B.net fan community. I know that it is difficult to attempt to "reason" with people who don't even think that they are stealing. "I don't want it to be that way, so therefor it is not a problem..." You tried, they're cockbites... and so the world goes. The good thing is that you tried. Not to nitpick, but you know the funny thing? I don't think that I've heard one complaint from Bungie themselves that was about "the money". What I have seen was more about someone hurting their "baby" and potentially ruining the surprise and awesome story that they've been creating for the fans. That to me, says a lot about where Bungies priorities are and what really matters to them. I'm glad to be a fan of such a group. Welcome again to B.net and "watch out for low-flying defense drones".
