Mod Workout.
i dont know about you guys, but i think spam is getting out of hand. if ya dont believe me, check out new mombasa. im only saying this because i feel there should be drastic changes, but the only ones i can think of are these:
all topics have to be checked by a MOD. the only problem, MOD shortage. it would take too long, and MODS arent always around.
all new members have to be checked by MODS. this makes sence, because there generally arent that many new members, and the wait will be worth it (if your not a previous spammer)
any other ideas?

Spamming is neccesary to a community. It sounds drastic, and silly, I know, but let me explain. Its almost as if we, the regular, well behaved users are fighting this war against the spammers. We are the foot soldiers, the privates. We take potshots at our enemy with our weaponry, but it doesn't do much damage, it merely makes them more willing to fight. So we call in the 'heavy guns', the mods. Now, these guys are armed to the teeth, and they have special training as well.... Don't you see? This constant conflict is part of what makes b.net so fun. Not fun for the mods, they must get bored locking deleting, banning etc. But for us it offers a somewhat fun experience, being 'at war' with the spammers.
