Should private groups be able to customize their profanity filter?

Should a private group be able to pick and choose what they feel should be censored? I mean it is kind of like their own little slice of the site. But their power doesn't supersede Bungie's and by customizing their profanity filter it may be a violation of the Terms of Use. So, what are your thoughts on this?

 •
Posted by: Big Vokes A reasonable suggestion indeed, but I believe if a website has a certain set of forum rules and or a code of conduct, the "private" section of said website should also abide by those rules when dealing with the profanity filter. In other words, if they want you to play nice, play nice.
So we have to abide by the profanity filter rules in private groups, but not drug, religious, and political discussion rules? You're confusing me.
