I thought loadouts were just fan service kitsch until I really got into it. But (as a guy playing alone), infinite run + active cammo versus sentry tourette and shielding are truly different experiences. Have loaded out accordingly. The rule of activate something and run the blam away still applies, but, the loadouts really do matter. (smiley face) [/quote]It's too bad Prometheans only use 1 AA (Knights: Auto Sentry and Promethean Vision, Watchers: Hardlight Shield) and Elites only use 1 AA as well (Camo).

This. There was no kick that a sniper would give making you feel like a spartan. There was also less bulletmagnetism compared to the newer(especially Halo 2) Halo's.[/quote]Oh absolutely.
Recoil was over the top. It made it much harder to stop Brutes in H3 from deploying their equipment.
