One of the things i've always admired about EVE online, was CCPs desicion to go above and beyond forums and arrange a community elected council as a route for players to make requests for changes and improvements to the game mechanics, presentation, and game content of Eve Online. With all the rumours flying around about destiny being a FPSMMO or Open World Sandbox game, do you think our community could benefit from a similar arrangement?
Posted by: ARBITOR 5
Posted by: Frapican I don't think that we really need this. In my opinion, having the forums is good enough for feedback.
Eh, I don't think so. Most things just get shot down. Remember that huge list of things that we would like to see added? None of it has been yet, maybe in the new hawtness eventually. But just take a look at the Avatar thread in the gallery, how many avatars where posted? Loads. How many we're actually added on bungie day? About 2 - 3. If that! I know that the studio is busy but what is the community team actually doing? All I see is DeeJ posting every few days and the odd bungie employee. Sorry if I sound as though I have lost faith - I haven't but the forums are not a great place to actually discuss new features. Not very often does an employee say 'hey that's a good idea but..' or 'we might try to add that in the future sometime'. Bungie.net is very hollow, empty and dark ATM. These are just MY views.
I'm sure that Bungie does notice our feedback in the forums. Just because some things haven't been implemented or commented on by a Bungie Employee, doesn't mean that they haven't been considered or noticed.
