As for not living a normal life, I'm doing fine. My aunt, who went through even more hell than me and just as much hell as my mother, has a loving husband, good children, and an amazing life. She doesn't ignore or hide her past, but she's accepted it and moved on. Even forgave her father before he died. She doesn't let her life traumatize her, or ruin her future. Same for my life.
