Every morning, around 8:15, I am awakened by the sun. Our apartment is angled perfectly for the sun to shine in our room super bright. The light is so bright, it actually wakes me up, and I have to put a pillow over my head to go back to sleep. I remember the first time it happened, I was dreaming about some sort of war, and thought I was being bombed! I woke up my girlfriend screaming "Baby, we've got to get downstairs where it's safer!" ... Since then, I've woken up a few times with a racing heart. Has anybody ever heard of this? I'm buying blackout curtains payday, so I won't be bothered, but I've never had trouble sleeping in natural light. What other strange things have you woken up to?
