In my first block class we were assigned a paper to write as a group. I was going to be in a group of three, with my best friend and some other girl, but three other people made their group official before we could, and i got split off by the teacher. I was paired with a really awkward girl. She never talks. Ever. At all.
So here i am, doing the paper by myself a day early. I figure i can say i thought it was due monday so i just did it myself. Not that it matters because i'd basically be doing it myself in class tomorrow anyway, except then the awkward girl would be taking credit for it too. I'm doing my homework early and lying about it so i dont have to deal with her.
1) How bad of a person does this make me?
2) Ever done something similar?

Actually, no.
She's gone through over three years of social awkwardness in highschool. I doubt working in a class with her for one block would change that. Although, obviously the thing i should do is just put up with it for one block, because it's not that bad and not a long time. The thing is, i don't want to. And her social awkwardness isn't my problem. And i'm realizing how asshatty this decision was.
The first step is admitting you're an asshat.
