Have you noticed...

That many of the members on Bungie.net who are in private groups delete inactive members? While I'm not insulting you, I think it is kind of stupid. Are you in a group like this, or have you done it yourself/ I don't know if this is right forum, but The Classifieds didn't seem approriate.

Posted by: Make117
Posted by: Gods Prophet Firstly, guys, just quoting another post doesn't add anything to the conversation.
Well true, but it just shows that they agree with the person they quoted. I don't know if saying the same thing with different wording adds more to the conversation.
I would argue that these points coincide with each other. So you're saying that if I joined a group and only ever quoted someone else's post, it would still be better than not being "active" in said group? Sounds fishy to me.
If there is good discussion people will post their thoughts. There will be threads that require discussion and threads that don't, like this thread. We are discussing something off topic to the thread which is the only reason why I'm posting here. There is literally nothing I can add to the discussion of the OP because there is nothing to discuss. I think instead of quoting a user they should just not post at all, however this is where I feel ratings would come in handy. [Edited on 10.08.2012 7:42 AM PDT]
