I graduated from "AIT" today and earned my Blue cord to officially make me a part of the United States Infantry. It was a GREAT experience and I met great people along the way, don't be intimidated by drill sergeants if you are going , they are some of the most humorous people I have ever met.
Well, I just wanted to put that out there and answer any questions you guys might have.
Posted by: Bungie Sam Yeah I know what OSUT training is, Colby.
If you seriously don't know, I put it in the title in parentheses, it's basic training and advanced individual training combined. Basic training is what people know as "Boot Camp", AIT is where they train you further for whatever job you have. It's different if you are 11b (infantry) , you do OSUT training which combines the two and makes it a tad bit longer.
