I'm still surprised no one has mentioned that 'leaked' gameplay footage of the Halo 3 Zanzibar remake. I would think that'd be pretty big....

great update Frankie, I was wondering about those rumors on the web. I was about ready to return my 62 inch for a TV that would do 1080p cause I just bought it. So you relieved my worries!! I'm excited for the Beta, one question for any one who might know. I've had my GT linked here at bungie, but I was on last night and it appears that it is no more. Plus I was wondering about those of you that made it into the Beta via the second phase... if you could just PM me and let me know it you've gotten your beta codes yet. Achronos, Pardon me for taking the opportunity to ask, but I have my 360 plugged into a monitor running 1600 x 1200 natively and that resolution isn't available to me in settings. I'm currently running the game at 1280 x 1024 and it looks pretty darn good. I'm not sure how to translate all the HD talk into monitor use talk. Could you help explain a little of this, and possibly reveal whether or not Halo 3 will have these resolutions available? For that matter, will Halo 2 for Vista offer 1600 x 1200? Tried to help someone just now and was unable to do so. Original xbox, disc is clean, memory clear, maps are showing as "Purchased". Still getting maps failed to install error. Other maps packs downloaded just fine...

Halo 3 will pwn. Period. I don't know about you guys but I don't think the wallpaper section is updated with the new picture yet. I guess we'll have to wait and see...

i think u guys messed up in trying to make the maps downloadable for 360 and xbox u should just have done what u did with the older maps and i dont mean bring them out on disks.im talking about just makeing them downloadable to the xbox i know the 360 would have downloaded them normaly.the old ones did when i had to redownload them on my old one.im not one of those people that did that billing thing nor do i have parentrol control on my 360 but i still wasnt able to download them then when i start up halo2 again the game tells me what i have downloaded is corrupted is that normal in terms of this on going problem??

I cant wait to see some hardcore halo 2 player like myself walk up to a warthog and still be thinking hold x and instead of getting in it they drop a trip mine and ruin the teams transportation lol.

Hey, I just bought a 360, crackdown, and a live account just to play the beta... Is there no SOUTHPAW control scheme in the beta? I have no hope of playing without the PAW! For my sanity and the mental health of all southpaws, please put it in. And make a suitable control scheme so that we can run and jump at the same time. Dont feel like waiting for halo 4 for this to be amended. The JUMPY scheme in Halo 1 was great.

I think you should be able to drop a bubble shield on a warthog or something. It doesn't last forever and the vehicle can still be boarded... Can't wait to reload one hand at a time....
