Jul seems to me more of a military figure (traditional elite badass) while the Didact is filling the role of God proper. No prophets (figurative and literal), just a direct route from faith to the order to go kill humanity.[/quote] Ironic, seeing as the Didact was the only Forerunner that would give that order. Had the new Covenant found any other Forerunner (perhaps even the other Didact), they would have had their bubble quite popped. Jul certainly lucked out.
