Wider, less clutter (looking at you right-hand-side bars and background images), no dropdowns (ever.), no more tiny stacked 10pt text links, indications of where you've posted/what's been posted in since you've read it. other than that things are relatively ok. definitely would keep the colour palette. nothing wrong with blue and grey on grey. it does however need unifying. certain things are clearly from older iterations of the site.
