I got bored and decided to make a brief history of the Halo trilogy. I hope you enjoy and find some things that you didn't see before.
1999 - Pre Microsoft
The original concept of this game was not a FPS but in fact it was to be a RTS game for the Mac PC.

2000 - Halo becomes Microsoft exclusive
At this stage of development the game is a third person shooter.

2001 - Release year
Halo Combat Evolved is shown off at E3 and players get to play the game as it is known (FPS). A few months later the game is released. Trailer.
2002 - Halo 2 Announced

2003 - Halo 2 E3 Release

2004 - Halo 2 Release
It was one of the most anticipated releases of all time and made Xbox Live what it is today.
2006 - Halo 3 E3 Trailer
Finishing the Fight. This trailer gave so much speculation as to what the Forerunner structure on Earth was.
2007 - Halo 3 Released

This game nicely concluded the trilogy and gave one of the greatest multi-player experiences of the decade. It had refined all the great things about H2 MM and merged it with new and ultimate game play experiences.
Posted by: ajw34307
Posted by: Majin YmmotGoku "There are those who said this day would never come. What are they to say now?"
Truth had some excellent dialogue in Halo 2, I loved that line. Something about Michael Wincott's gravelly, ice-cold voice really sold Truth for me as a villain of great depth - magnified by Staten's novel, Contact Harvest. It's a shame he served only the archetypal role of "DEATH TO HUMANS," and had his voice actor changed to Terrence Stamp to make him sound like a madman. I like Stamp, but his voice just didn't fit with Truth the way Wincott's did.
Can blame anyone, the man just didn't want to reprise his role again. I honestly don't know why some actors do that though.
