Destiny question.
Will destiny be an xbox only game or will it be on every platform?
Sorry if this is in the wrong forum.

It will be multi platform, but not [i]every[/i] platform. As far as I know, that is. [Edited on 01.07.2013 11:52 PM PST]

This is the POYFECT forum for this sort of question. Nobody knows, really. The [url=http://documents.latimes.com/bungie-activision-contract/]contract[/url] said that it would definitely be on the Xbox, and be grandfathered-in to the next Xbox Generation, and that in January of last year, feasibility/plausibility tests were done for the PS3 (and PC, IIRC). According to [url=http://oyster.ignimgs.com/wordpress/stg.ign.com/2012/11/destiny-35jpg-489af9-610x291.jpg]this image[/url] leaked in the IGN article, it seems as if those tests for the PS3 were positive and that Bungie will be making their first multi-platform game. The jury is out on Wii U (highly doubtful) and PC (most likely not) for this first game. However, sequels to Destiny 1 will be multiplatform to at least the 720, the PSwhatever, and PC.

multi platform, if I remember correctly Bungie was trying to hire so Sony people awhile back.

We honestly don't know yet, OP. There has been some speculation based on some old documents, but things could have changed since then and no official announcements have been made. Since Bungie has experience in Xbox, it is probably very safe to assume that the new game will be at least on Xbox. But beyond that, we just don't know.
