Most sites that have these top ten countdowns that I've seen always list Bladerunner as the #1. Curious to see what the Flood thinks. Personally, it's the original Star Wars for me, which I just watched again today for the dozenth time. Although I finally saw Bladerunner for the first time this month and I've got to see it definitely deserves all the praise.

I really liked Serenity despite certain occurrences (y u float lyk leaf :'( y...), but I'm not sure what I'd rate as my top SciFis.

Probably the original Star Wars for the sheer amount of lore it ended up producing. Here we are nearly 40 years later, still discussing the franchise and in some cases consuming new content.

Either Aliens or the Star Trek films.

Sunshine. I like it because it isnt far fetched and it offers simple but fantastic visuals.

With Nathan Fillion. Don't worry about the Firefly thing. Serenity is actually BETTER (and it is pretty -blam!- good as is) as a standalone movie than as the ending to Firefly. Edit: As an answer to the topic, my favourite is District 9, followed by Serenity. Sunshine is really good as well. [Edited on 01.07.2013 10:20 PM PST]
