Why are you STILL STUCK on Halo 3???
Well i know i am. I guess i was just so much in love when i got my first xbox 360, and with the golden halo days that everything else can't get close to what i experience with h3. Im just stuck, sometimes i play some cod or some h4, but i always go back to halo 3, it is, till today really fun for me.
Now how come are you still stuck here, in the halo 3 world?

Halo 3 = best halo. Halo 4 is ehhhh bad. Halo 1 + 2 were good, but Halo 3 was just my favorite. I agree with the posts above. I want a halo that is a progression but everything feels forced to copy other games. It's blatant that Halo 4 just took fro Ifinity ward and Microsoft studios. All its "new" AA like Promethean vision are carbon copies from shawowrun (Microsoft studios). They eve had teleport i the code which is from shadowrun. [Edited on 01.03.2013 10:48 PM PST]

Halo 3 is the game I go to when I just get plain tired of all the let downs in Halo 4. If Im sick of bad vehicle combat or overpowered Boltshots, I skip over Reach and go to Halo 3. It had the balance that we expect from Halo games now. It hit all the marks. It didn't satisfy in one place but disappoint in another. It hit all the bullseyes, and that is why around 10,000 people still play a 5 year old game in an industry where a 2 year old game is practically forgotten. [Edited on 01.02.2013 11:47 PM PST]

Halo 4 sucks! I refuse to move onto another halo game unless it brings the classic arena style shooter gameplay halo 1-2-3 had. With little improvements(that's what the first trilogy did by the way). They need to stop "codifing" halo and halo 4 is a "codified reach"

Im not. To be perfectly honest, at this point I think I prefer H4 to H3. The game play of H4 isnt so bad that I dont enjoy myself, and the large majority of my friends play it for one reason or another. That isnt to say that I wont play H3 if someone were to invite me. Despite being as old as it is, it remains one of the very few games I have been able to invest a large portion of time without growing bored or tired of it.

To be fair its really all just a matter of opinion to be honest I love halo 3 nothing will change that. Halo 4 tho isn't to bad of game I do hate some of things they added in the game but it definitely not as good as halo 2 or 3

To be fair, I'm not -still- stuck on it. I haven't had the chance to play on XBox Live in almost four years, and when I did, I picked up Halo 4. And it sucked, badly. Along with adopting everything from COD that I didn't like, they also abandoned everything that made Halo's multi-player unique and managed to screw up many, many custom games in the process. The only reason I'm playing Halo 3 is because it is the Halo that I remember playing. While I can't say that I disliked Reach, it wasn't as good as Halo 3. And my copy has been delayed several times in the mail. Not only that, but how many people still play Counter Strike? The only reason people aren't playing Halo 2 right now is because of Halo: Reach and Halo 4. Otherwise, the fan-base would be divided, and not too unevenly, between Halo 2 and Halo 3.

It's still the best Halo for the 360 console. Halo sadly has been declining since H3 so I see no reason to really play much Reach or H4. I don't play new Halo games for the sake of them being new. I play what is better.

It was the one I had the most fun on with friends after school/college. Not many of them still play though. I was actually on Halo 4 tonight and it wasn't all that bad, it still isn't as good as 3 though, in my opinion.
