I'm completely out of the loop on this one, boys. I only got Crimson Steam Pirates yesterday, actually. Cool game. Anyways, what happened to Aerospace?

Bungie hasn't said anything about it. Keep in mind that independent game development is by no means a linear process, and it can often take several failed game concepts to discover something that works. It's nice that Bungie had Crimson lined up for release with Aerospace, I just don't think they had anything else in the pipe as it were. I would like to think that it exists though, as a Computer Science student I think it would be cool to have that sort of resource around for when I graduate.

They're probably working on other titles for people.

Interesting. Thanks, friend.

Looks like it isn't doing so well. Or maybe Bungie will reveal the upcoming projects along with Destiny for extra publicity.

I think that with bungie going dark they knew that they couldn't keep their old audience and will most likely announce something once the community starts growing again towards the release of destiny.
-
I just figured they were hoping we'd all forget about it.

Maybe a failed project of theirs.
Is Aerospace still active?
As much as I hope so, all signs point to not. Funny thing, I was just investigating this. Turns out that the guy DeeJ said was running Aerospace in Mail Sack #2 (My first appearance BTW..) Left Bungie in September for Popcap. So, unless they hired a new Aerospace producer, it's DOA. But a man can still dream.

Well Aerospace was announced to the developers at the same time as it was to us and first they have to negotiate the terms with Bungie and then the games have to be developed before they can be announced. Crimson propably was an exception because Bungie knew Jordan Weisman from their time at Microsoft.
