Private function features
I am not sure about the rest of the Community here, but I myself am a statistics freak. By no means am I an expert in the field, but they just fascinate me, for whatever reason.
How would you feel about personal statistics readily available at your finger tips with Bungie.next? Some wish to see post count, PPD, private group posts, etc. But must they be visible? Would you, like I, be interested in seeing these in private?
Bungie in the past has done a great job with our Halo statistics, and some very in depth stats were available. Look at heat maps, weapon kills per map, and even more available to groups such as Halocharts with the API.
I'd be curious to see personal statistics from the site available. How would you feel about this?

Sounds alright. I would be even more excited if it could create a ratio of how many stupid threads I make to good threads. [Edited on 12.23.2012 6:39 PM PST]

Kind of like a 'Service Record', but for Bungie.net? Sure why not? Only downside would be people that get fixated by their stats and just post for the sake of getting stats up and comparing stats with others. I can see threads like "How many posts have you made?" and "What's your forum K/D?"

I personally do not care if people see my over all post count, PPD, or how many times I have been "thanked", quoted, etc., by other members. I am simply interested for my own sake because of my mild obsession over stats. I can see how there would be a downside, but I think it would be lessened. Why? Because when people have their stats readily available to be seen and viewed, they're more inclined to talk about it. It is much like the anonymous nature of some other boards. You can say you've been a member for X amount of years, or accomplished X feat, but ultimately, no one cares because you cannot prove it in any way. In regards to the last bit, if generating some different discussion than what we see on a quite regular basis is the worst that arises, I think we'd be okay with that. Far better than the stagnant conversation we sometimes find ourselves in.

I'd like to be able to see my private group PPD and thread count. Don't care in the slightest about my PPD on the mains. It'd help us with ranks in Sapphire if we could keep track of that kind of data without having to do it manually.
