Place your bets, ladies and gentlemen! Destiny:
Here's your chance to prove how good you're at predicting what Destiny will feature.
Chances are Desitiny will make an appearence att the VGA, or some time in the near future. Let's bet on what we think will be in the game! Story, gameplay, features, [b]but nothing we can [i]take for granted[/i][/b]; not the obvious stuff of course, such as if it's a shooter or if it will contain the colour red, but the more significant/specific things. Don't play dumb, you know what I mean! :P
[b]Now, how will we see who gets the most [i]bragging rights[/i][/b]?
[b]Let's do like this:[/b] You all get 10 points, distribute them as you see fit, but no decimals. Max 10 different bets, minimum 1, and everything in between.
Then, when the game and its features are revealed, we'll strip those who were wrong off their points, and award them to those who got it right! The more points you got right, the more you'll be rewarded.
[b]It's a risk/reward situation[/b], bet everything on one and you won't lose any points, but you'll only gain one.

I put all 10 of my points on Destiny having a NPC named "Foman" who is heroic, tough, and saves you from dying on numerous occasions. I am confident that Bungie appreciates all of my contributions to the community so much that this is what they're spending most of their time implementing.

[b]3 on:[/b] Halo had its "30 seconds of fun", and Destiny will work with the same kind of mentality, but altered to fit the new levels and gameplay mechanics. Intricatly juggling between mechaninics, forcing--or allowing--the player to experience the entire palette of possible ways of interacting, within the games pacing cycle. If I can do something here, I should be able to do the exact same thing over there, like driving a Mongoose in a space station. [b]3 on:[/b] The next level of dynamicity; how seamless everything is. No jagged edges everywhere; loading times, menus, difference/restriction in gameplay depending on where one is, etc. At its core I want it too be as dynamic and interactive as a multiplayer level in Halo 3 (objcets effect, entrance into vehicles is smooth, all weapons and projectiles affect eachother, etc. Look at Halo Mythbusters and you'll get what I mean). EDIT: A robust ecosystem of mechanics that is manifested more physically than numerically. (The latter two were taken from an old comments of mine).
