Was the Halo 3 population counter recorded daily or instanteously? Meaning that if we saw 100,000 people on the counter, would that be at the very moment (give or take 30 minutes-1 hour) or in the course of 24 hours? I've always remembered it to be instantaneous, but some say otherwise. In fact i'm confident it's instantaneous. And i'm referring to the counter that was in-game. When you're at the matchmaking menu, there's a population count on the bottom left. That's what i'm referring to.
