Destiny is going to be BIG.
Bungie created a hugely popular franchise with Halo. Now that they've moved on, will they be able to do the same with Destiny? I'm willing to say yes, Destiny will be just as big as Halo. Just by judging the reaction of the Internet, we can probably gauge a general idea of how popular it might be.
Ex. It's [url=http://imgur.com/uGLJX.png]Number 1[/url] on [url=http://reddit.com/]Reddit[/url] right now, after the news only being up for a few hours. And that's just for some concept artwork and a very general description of the game.
Something tells me Destiny is going to be big. It seems to have a lot of interest right now. Do you think it's only momentary, or will Destiny be able to regain BUNGIE the titles of Glory they gained from Halo?

I honestly can't wait, especially when Halo has taken a direction I personally don't like.

I think from what we've seen so far, Destiny has a good potential, but it success depend of the way they'll market it. And by the way, i'm curious to see "the rival" of Destiny supposed to be Respawn's Entertainment Sci-fi FPS. This could be a serious contender don't underestimate Zampella and West they're in "Darkness" too.

Just looking at those few bits of artwork and that brief description..... it feels rich and well thought out. Am looking forward to getting stuck into a brand new universe, Halo was getting pretty old and done. The only other gaming universe that has really captivated me is Fallout, so I am hoping for something as diverse and intricate and...... well.... awesome. Bungie has never given me a reason to doubt them, so I am 100% behind Destiny.

I fell in love with Halo and it's lore, I won't doubt they have the capacity to do it again.

It will be similar to Halo. I will love this just as much as Halo honestly. If people are going to be disappointed in Destiny just because it is not identical to halo, then they have 343I.
