"WE'LL DO IT LIVE!" Today's Mail Sack in Real Time...

Bungie Community, It's been a crazy week for me. How about you? "What been crazy about it, DeeJ?" "Yeah, what are you working on?" "No kidding. What the hell do you do when you're not locking our threads?" Man, it would be awesome to be able to answer that. The things I am seeing are making me so excited as a gamer - and as the person that will help introduce this game to you. The magic being wielded behind the scenes here has been so intensive, that my usual workflow has been... interrupted. Celebrating the Tin Anniversary of Xbox LIVE was also a distraction. However, the mail must be answered. Thus, I am attacking it inline. As always, I cannot field all of the grounders you hit in my direction, so you're welcome to hit me with alternative interrogatives, if you like. For the next several hours, Bungie.net will be on my primary monitor. I'll have to share this exercise with a few other needful things, but we should (and will) talk. Ask me (almost) anything. And, check the posts in the thread for my fingerprints. [Edited on 11.16.2012 1:17 PM PST]

 • Are people who get rejected by your interview process allowed to come back and interview again once they've gained more experience? DeeJ said: Were you that guy that showed up to interview for the Concept Artist position sans pants? [Edited on 11.16.2012 1:29 PM PST by DeeJ]

 • To any Bungie Employee: If you could switch jobs with anyone else that works at Bungie for a day, what job would it be? And if you're willing to tell us who has that job, please do. DeeJ said: Everyone at Bungie was hired to express their expertise in a very specific fashion. Although, secretly, we all wish we were Marty. [Edited on 11.16.2012 1:28 PM PST by DeeJ]

 • Last time you lied to us about the sack. Do you have more lies to tell this time? DeeJ said: Those aren't lies as much as they're creativity with the truth for entertainment value. [Edited on 11.16.2012 1:25 PM PST by DeeJ]

 • How do you come up with Mail Sack names? DeeJ said: I put myself into a trance induced by Bungie Snacks and Facebook nerd rage. Then, I let my subconscious do the walking. Then, I choose something more appropriate for publication to our blog. [Edited on 11.16.2012 1:24 PM PST by DeeJ]

 • Is it just me or is the Mail Sack getting boring? DeeJ said: You say the nicest things, Wolf. Both here and on Twitter. I do appreciate your honest, thought. Never stop that. I think a lot about ways to keep our waiting period fresh, but it can be challenge with a limited vocabulary for what I can tell you. Collecting your questions is always a meaningful experience for me, so I'll continue the drill. For someone who wants to enhance your experience, listening is more important to me than talking. • really? the worst? awww How long until the key to your lock (of secrecy) is made? DeeJ said: Longer. Hang in there. I know this is hard. It's hard for me to have to keep these secrets. It is, however, such a pleasure to know the people who hang out on this website out of sincere interest in the community that lives here. As much as we lament the darkness, it should be observed that this intimate gathering of people won't always be so tightly-knit. [Edited on 11.16.2012 1:20 PM PST by DeeJ]
