Has it really been that long?
Halo 4 is just around the corner as you all may know. But for me, it seems like yesterday when halo 3 was announced and everyone was pumped and ready to take it on..time has really gone by pretty fast

Funny......Halo 4 has a ton of hype, and I feel like true Halo has never been so dead. Sucks. I'll keep my fingers crossed for a Halo 2 Anniversary, but even if it happens it probably won't have the classic MM.

HCE will always hold a special place in my heart but Bungie took a game that was already awesome and completely gave us a new game in H2 and in one man's opinion every Halo since has just been trying to catch up Halo 2 Anniversary is a game I would definitely get behind because all of the others have been leaving me wanting.......

We're all jaded. We've all played a ton of Halo. That means two things - 1. We'd complain miserably about massive changes, saying it wasn't the same series anymore. 2. There is only so much the series can do within its format to keep things fresh. Nothing compares to CE...but I think it's partially because it was the first...I've known how to take out an Elite and how Hunters act for a while. A "new experience" within the framework can only go so far...

So if you take them two out, it's two years from Reach to Halo 4.

^ False. ODST was supposed to be an add-on to H3, but due to its size, they made it a seperate game early on. Halo: CEA, wait, I don't even know why you took that one out. It's still a game. It's crazy. I played Halo 3 until mid-2010. That's why it seems not-so long ago. I have to say, Halo 3 and 2 have to be my all time favorite video games. And Halo 4's multiplayer is closer to Halo 2's then any other IMO. I like it. I just hate the campaign though. It's my least favorite out of every other Halo. [Edited on 11.11.2012 9:49 AM PST]

Coming from someone who played halo 2's campaign about 200 times and same with 3's, i was pleasantly surprised when 343i made the forunner's feel like the alien race they are just like how bungie did the same thing with the covenant in halo CE. The didact however was a little awkward to be honest and the music was nothing compared to marty. The ending was weird with chief being shielded by cortana when the ship blew up from the nuke, but from what i read, she used folded up the light bridge to shield chief, how though i have no idea.Other than those two things it was good and is re-playable compared to halo reach's horrible excuse of a campaign

Not a huge fan of the story (Chief's armor changed IN CRYO SLEEP), but it's not bad, and the gameplay is great! Definitely one of the shorter campaigns, but I thought it was a lot of fun. I agree that the music quality wasn't so high as Marty though.

The campaign was the best part of Halo 4 for me. Halo 4 multiplayer has some good elements and some terrible elements. It doesn't feel like any other halo to me. I keep hearing different people say different things it reminds them of, but it honestly just feels different to me. [Edited on 11.12.2012 10:23 AM PST]

Does anyone actually think they're won't be a Halo 7 and beyond? It sucks to see a franchise you grew up with and enjoyed turned into commercialized garbage.
