Patrol ------------- He prepared to wipe the dust off his face, But a slight sound had distracted him, For he knew something was out of place, A veteran warrior, ready to give life and limb. He turned to observe; MA3A in hand, To his surprise no one was there, It was something he couldn't understand, Perhaps it was just the sound of the wind flowing through the air. As he turned, he slowly witnessed a still shadow, And as it slowly approached him, He knew this had been not but a mere man, but a veteran of a thousand battles, A veteran warrior, had given life and limb. ------------- This is a poem I wrote real quick, but it's about a lone Insurrectionist on patrol, but soon runs into a SPARTAN commando.
