In the spirit of trying to keep things fun around here, as well as in the spirit of Halloween, I thought we could play a little game...
The setting is Bungie studios on Hallows Eve... We the community have been invited to a Halloween themed party in which we're asked to dress up if attending. When you as one guest out of many arrive at the at the Studio, you're greeted by both DeeJ and Urk, the organizers of said party, who are dressed in their magnificent costumes.
The two gentlemen allow you access to the party, and once inside, you are greeted by all sorts of familiar community Members, handed a fresh beverage and at once begin to enjoy the festivities with all your friends. You begin dancing and partying for hours on end, until suddenly a loud high-pitched feminine scream is heard from the lobby. DeeJ runs to investigate only to see a large crowd of Zombies breaking down the glass at the front lobby, some had already even entered and begun consuming innocent victims. DeeJ recognizes the source of the feminine scream belonged to a familiar face and heroically risked his life by ensuring he grabbed the individual and brought the near-consumed victim back behind the safety of the security doors.
DeeJ immediately triggered the alarm which caused several doors to become reinforced with a steel security shield, preventing most attempts at breaking into the actual studio. Except there's one problem, the Zombie scan alert syst that was installed when Bungie moved in, sounded off over the intercom, alerting the remaining guests that someone in the lobby was bitten, and had rushed back into the studio before the majority of zombies crowded the front halls. A zombie was lurking, somewhere... And panic was on the rise.
People began to coordinate, but people also began to disappear. The first victims bloodcurdling scream was heard, and people began to realize who exactly had gone missing just recently.
The numbers began to dwindle, and soon people were faced with having to take up arms to defend themselves as the zombie horde continued to grow. If the right group didn't assemble fast enough, with the proper line of defence, soon the whole studio would be lost, as well as all of the people trapped within.
Now it's time to play your part by answering the following questions...
1. What is your weapon of choice?
Try to be a realistic survivor by doing what MacGyver would do if stuck in a game developer studio under siege by a zombie infection. Showing up with an arsenal of machine guns to a Halloween party wouldn't fly.
2. Assemble your team.
Choose anywhere from 1 to 6 Community Members that you select to create a zombie killing squad that stood a fighting chance against the undead masses.
3. Who is the first victim?
Once the initial attack had passed, which individual disregards caution after lockdown, becoming the first meal for the undead lurking in the shadows?
4. Who is the screamer?
DeeJ risked his life to save this individual whom alerted the party of the impending attack... Name this screamer with the feminine shriek.
5. What were Urk and DeeJ wearing?
If you were attend a party with these gents for Halloween, what do you imagine they would be most likely to dress up as?
6. How did it end?
You made a team, you created a plan, you made weapons and did your best to defend your fellow Community Members... So how did it end?
