-Competence highly variable
-ranks difficult to discern from one another
-simplicity of colour progression replaces with random colour scheme
-no clear indicator or role between several ranks (General v Zealot v Bob)
-increased difficulty results in damage sponge and massive ROF/damage increase in addition to
-movement unpredictable at all times, no pattern to movement
-melees unavoidable, always massive damage (one-hit kill with difficulty)
-all Elites throw instant grenades
-all Elites have shields
