Crimson Taught Me an Important History Lesson
So, after I downloaded Crimson and played it for awhile, I noticed in the storyline that they talk about the Confederacy as if it was powerful. I was confused at this as the game takes place after the Civil War and looked up the backstory on the developer's website.
Anyway, after reading through the alternate timeline I realized that Lincoln wouldn't have been regarded as the great president he is today if he didn't win the Civil War.
Why is it that Bungie always gets the most in depth universes?

In the backwater that is American democracy there are a number of reasons for equality to be supressed. Most obvious example is the right to vote ... removed if you happen to have been convicted of a felon. You dont like the laws ... tough, you have no rights (mmm, is that where bungie got the motto?). Example #2 ... again America, Communist party anyone? Odd that a legitimate system of government, taught in schools, is not allowed to be represented in the land of the free. Lets look overseas (rather than keep picking on the ole USA) ... Saudi Arabia and Vatican City, not votes if you are born female. Do we hear a vocal majority? '[i]but someone wouldve eventually come across and fixed the problem[/i] ... maybe not.

Put it this way ... if it was so good wouldn't it be attracting other indie titles to the crimson stable? (That and all the free goodies that aerospace promises) But if you think its a great game go for it. Know people who still think Viva Pinata was the best xbox title EVER.
