why is the needler back?
why is the needler gun back in HALO 2 (as seen in the 2nd MP screenshot)? barely anyone used it before... i always thought it was way too powerful so they tuned it down before they released the first HALO, and they tuned it down so much that it just sucked. obviously they worked on it coz it's back for HALO 2!

I never really used the needler very much, but when I did it saved me from a lot of trouble. And as much as Frankie has been talking about it, it autta be a must have in Halo 2.

needler= perfect anti noob weapon. that's why it's back.

I love the needler. It's SOOO funny. Sure it sucks, but if you do manage to kill someone with it, it's like bendinig them over and spanking them. Besides, in the campaign mode the needler comes in handy. :)

because it's a kick-ass weapon: it's funny and it has a high humiliation factor!!! (a pink explosion!!! pink fireworks!!! lol!!!)

I dont think anyone who work at bungie is lucky......i mean ..... they are making the game so they wont have the fun we will when we are gonna play the game (way too many "w" in that sentence) We are gonna discover things in thig game....they wont......

Dual needler is gonna be soooo powerfull in close quarter...... like a shotgun

the needler is awesome. 20 rounds of pink death will kill almost anything. (o and by the way the most poisonous animals in the ocean are pink) plus it does damage to things around it when it explodes. i use the needler almost the same way i use the AR. you can lite up alot of guys with the tracking needles. gives you time to throw a grenade. when the needler explodes, at least in the campeign, all grenades explode that are on the ground. i think they should have that ability in multiplayer. i also think the needler should do more melee damage.

i loved the needler, only two possible improvements: 1.faster needles 2.larger clip/more holding capacity

There's nothing better than laughing your a$$ of at someone that gets needled in Halo. Dual needlers? Sounds tasty. How about this as an idea though: When you melee someone with the needler, all the remaining crystals in your clip get stuck in the guy you're pounding on. Dual needler wielding whirldwind destruction, man.

I found the needler especially helpful against the Flood, mainly because the Needler rounds explode after impact. Really helpful against Flood carriers...

The needler was a great weapon! whenever i was out of ammo and needed a club to hit grunts with thats the first weapon i picked up. Oh what..? the needler shot stuff? guess i never noticed..

They should make the needler rounds red this time. I dont know why they ever made them pink, it was kindda stupid, why not make them red?

I don't know whaty you guys are takling about, the needler is AWSOME. There is nothing better then poping out and unloading a whole clip of purple niddle into someones back to then see them blow up. Hey, the gun may not be that intimidating but it sure as heck looks awsome (especially when they blow up). But they defiinitally are going to bring back every old gun beacuse everyone has their perks.

Yeah it was powerful enough but the projectiles were to slow all you could just stafe out the way.

I think I'll mention that I think the Needler absolutely sucks. What's this about it being useful in Legendary Campaign? Well, I've never found it useful. You can take an elite out in 2 shots on legendary, one charged plasma pistol shot to take down shield and one pistol shot in the head and he's dead. I'll use a needler only to prove that I can kill anything with any weapon, but it's definitely not the most efficient weapon. The only time I've ever found it good when I was playing my 6 year old brother, who doesn't know how to play halo and thus I could kill him with the needler easily.

dude .. the pope is the leader of the catholic church and why the hell did u bring that up?? dual needler will kick arse!!! i use it heeeps... but on legendary the elites tend to dodge alot of them and then u have to stop and reload which i often die in!!!
