Oh, and I got this idea from another thread... ~~~~~~~ Noble Six then encountered a group of SPARTAN-IIs. Little to Six's knowledge, the SPARTANS had been ordered to kill him by Colonel Ackerson. David successfully wiped out the entire team, emerging on top with practically no ammo left and his battle suit's integrity weakened. It was apparently Ackerson's attempt to put the S3's on top and burst his way into interstellar stardom, but out of defiance, after discovering a crackling comm with Ackerson's voice on the other side, confirming his doubts, Six stayed to die, to ensure Ackerson's personal glory would not be fed. Given the circumstances, Six could have easily escaped, but he knew he was the one loose end tying himself to Ackerson's plan, knowing if he left Ackerson would win. But Six won, Ackerson lost his proof that the Spartan-III was better than the rest, and would remain a Lone Wolf and a legend amongst his brethren. [Edited on 06.06.2011 1:26 AM PDT]
